Malka S. Benoff is an award-winning artist with an extensive background in art expression. She has exhibited her landscape, figure, and still life paintings in solo, as well as group exhibitions. Her oil paintings hang in private and corporate collections in the United States and abroad, and have been featured on magazine, as well as book covers.
Malka is a self taught artist who, prior to discovering painting, had pursued many arts and crafts mediums as a creative outlet, including wearable art, fashion design, interior design, ceramics, stoneware, culinary arts, and more. But she found her true niche in painting.
Challenged several years ago by an accident which resulted in the loss of an eye, Malka has discovered that while her depth perception had been impacted, so has her painting style and direction, leading her to explore ever looser, bolder, and higher keyed methods of expressing herself on her canvasses.
Malka was juried into, and is a Signature level member of The Artists’ Guild of The Boca Raton Museum of Art. She is also a member of Oil Painters Of America.
Malka uses a full palette to paint her landscape, figure, and still life paintings, and paints from both direct observation, as well as from photographs. She accepts commissions.
